The Doodle Bear

This keepsake is ideal for children leaving school, christenings, leaving a job, or any party type event where you’d like the guests to sign something like weddings, christenings, birthday parties or baby showers 

The bear is made out of calico fabric so is easy for people to write on with sharpies, highlighters or ballpoint pens. 

I can include parts of a uniform or colour on the ears or the pads of the foot.

The bear measures 12” from sitting bum to top of the head. These bears have a faux leather nose but I can change to a different colour or shape if required.

You can choose to add a dust bag to store your keepsake in, but these also make great gift bags. They are cotton drawstring bags that have the Mint Jelly Gifts logo embroidered onto them.

*Pens for writing on the bear are not included. The bear does not have eyelashes, these have been doodled onto the bear.

What materials can be used? I can work with cottons, polycottons, baby blankets, Babygro's, shirts, T-shirts, denim, dresses and those similar. I wouldn’t recommend anything loose knit that will unravel when cut. Please message me if you need to check your chosen fabric. Garments need to be clean and not damaged or torn, no need to iron.

How much fabric is needed? Only one item if you wanted the paws and ears a different colour. I do have a range of fabric here so you can just ask me to add the colour.

How does it work? My address will be sent to you via email once payment is made. You then need to package your clothes along with a note of your name or order number so I know it’s yours and post to me. I will send you a message once I’ve received your order, then once again with a picture when I’ve made your keepsake before I post back to you.

What’s the personalisation? You can choose to add personalisation to all keepsakes. This will be done by machine embroidery, I choose a colour that complements your keepsake, but if you require a certain colour, that’s no problem! Please check all spellings and punctuation on your personalisation, as I will embroider exactly what is written. With this bear, you have the option of embroidering one or two feet.

Please note that whilst these keepsakes may be attractive to children, they are NOT toys, they are ornaments. They cannot be CE tested as they are made from your clothes, therefore testing is not a possibility. They don't carry the CE mark, it is intended as a keepsake and not for children under the age of 14. They will be stuffed with polyester hollow fibre that conforms to the fire and furnishings (fire) (safety) regulations 1988. I use toy safety eyes and nose is hand embroidered.
