These keepsake stars are an ideal way to remember lost loved ones or to remember those outgrown baby clothes. They are ideal for smaller baby clothes if you don’t have enough to make a keepsake animal.
They come in 3 sizes, the small and large can be personalised with a name using machine embroidery.
They come with a hanging ribbon and are stuffed with a safety fibre stuffing.
The tiny measures 4” across and is a 5 pointed star
The small measures 5.5” across and is a 5 pointed star
The large measures 10” by 11” and is a 6 pointed star.
You can choose to add a keepsake dust bag which is a cotton drawstring bag with the Mint Jelly Keepsakes embroidered on to it. A small dust bag is supplied with the stars.
What materials can be used? I can work with cottons, polycottons, baby blankets, Babygro's, shirts, T-shirts, denim, dresses and those similar. I wouldn’t recommend anything loose knit that will unravel when cut. Please message me if you need to check your chosen fabric. Garments need to be clean and not damaged or torn, no need to iron.
How much fabric is needed? 1-2 pieces are fine for the tiny and small, 2-3 for the large star
How does it work? My address will be sent to you via email once payment is made. You then need to package your clothes along with a note of your name or order number so I know it’s yours and post to me. I will send you a message once I’ve received your order, then once again with a picture when I’ve made your keepsake before I post back to you.
What’s the personalisation? You can choose to add personalisation to the small and large stars. This will be done by machine embroidery, I choose a colour that complements your keepsake, but if you require a certain colour, that’s no problem! Please check all spellings and punctuation on your personalisation, as I will embroider exactly what is written.
